APRA.org Revised and Relaunched
August 25, 2009
CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA – The Automotive Parts Remanufacturer
Association’s (APRA) editor, Kirsten Kase, recently announced the “new and
improved” APRA website. The new site has been redesigned with a fresh look,
improved navigation and has been updated with information about remanufacturing
and the latest products and services offered to APRA members. In the past 12
months www.apra.org has received more than
190,000 visits at the rate of over 500 per day. In the past six months there
have been 23,853 unique visitors, with 75 percent visiting once and the other 25
percent visited two or more times.
“Only 47 percent of the visitors to www.apra.org
are from the USA,” stated Kase, “which indicates that more than half of our
visitors are from international markets, where the growth potential for
remanufacturing is just now being realized.”
There were 36,745 page hits during this six-month period, which is an average of
2,000 per day. Traffic on Saturday and Sunday is about half what it is during
the week with very little difference in viewing Mondays through Fridays. Google
was the top referrer with those searching for APRA, totaling 9,141 times.
Readership of APRA’s Global Connection newspaper online is significant
outside the USA, indicating that readers can’t wait to receive their copy via
“snail mail.”
