APRA Electrical Clinic to Feature Plant Tours of BPS and HC-Holger Christiansen

CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA – The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA)
will hold an additional 2009 Electrical Clinic on October 2-3, 2009 at the
Crowne Plaza Atlanta Airport Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
On Friday, October 2nd, there will be plant tours of the HC-Holger Christiansen
plant and Boles Parts Supply’s headquarters, core facility and winding
operations. Later that evening there will be a “Welcome to Atlanta” Cocktail
Reception that will feature a Mini Exposition. Everyone is invited to attend the
reception. APRA supplier members are also encouraged to sign up for an
exposition table for only $95.
On Saturday, October 3rd, the program of events consists of two presentations by
Mohammad Samii – “Update on Charging/Starting System Technology” and “Rebuilding
Units and Bench Work Practices.” Also slated for Saturday will be industry
veteran Dick Vensel talking about the tools of the trade and how they can making
any job easier, followed by a discussion on how Lester Catalog and KwikFinder
can help electrical businesses grow. The program will conclude with a Roundtable
Discussion and Q & A Session, moderated by Dennis Jacinto. Panelists will
include Nick Staub, Dan Smith and Dick Vensel. The Mini Exposition will remain
open on Saturday during refreshment breaks and lunch.
